When is the election happening for new leadership of the PU?

His position as officer expired on 01/09/19, according to the official Players Union charter. Raymond is not allowed to declare himself as a leader as he now has no power in the PU. He cannot start his own election as well as once again, he is not leader, and he has now power. It's now 17/05/20. 8 months past his leadership expired, and since 95% of the PU doesn't even play on the server anymore, who is going to support him? Along with him forgetting to submit his own Players Union team into the tournament again, I think Raymond is suffering from a severe case of Dementia, wouldn't you agree Turtle? ![]()

"It is a fundamental principle of criminal law that an imputed offense must correspond exactly to the type of crime described by law. If no law applies exactly to the point in question, then there can be no offense"
- Fidel Castro, 16 October 1953 "Justice remains the tool of a few powerful interests; legal interpretations will continue to be made to suit the convenience of the oppressor powers." - Che Guevara, 1965 A spectre is haunting Domination Servers, the spectre of the Players Union. All the admins of jailbreak have entered into a unholy alliance to exorcise this spectre. Like the miners of Ballarat rising against the oppressive powers that be who had instituted draconian restrictions upon them, we too; the players, must rise against our own oppressors. And too like the miners of Ballarat, the system will change to accommodate us. The Players Union team was forbid from attending the 5v5 Covid-19 Tournament on the grounds of administratory discrimination. I personally was forbidden participation for allegedly not meeting the 50 hours required minimum playtime on Domination Servers. This is what the admins of the current regime claimed. The oldest screenshot I have taken on Steam of Counter-Strike:Source is from Freedom Gamers. It was taken on August 27, 2011. What of the current admins can say with an honest heart they were active players on Freedom Gamers at that time? "I am the object of criticism around the world. But I think that since I am being discussed, then I am on the right track." - Kim Jong-Il, 2001 While indeed in 2011 I was merely treading the waters of the jailbreak community, I was without a doubt an active member of the community by 2013. I engaged in many rushes with the boys despite being but a teenager at the time, as well as many forum posts and arguments with Sini (Who of the current admin team are able to remember him?). Things were simpler back then. That crackpot vampire Obama had not yet finished his second term and was already waving his raging imperialist member in the direction of Syria, we were still recovering from the first wave of the Harlem shake and Doge, Elliot Rodger would not take his retribution upon the female race for another year, and it would be 3 years before civil rights hero Harambe would be slain in an unprecedented shooting. How was a mere player such as myself to forsee the turn of events that would befall Freedom Gamers, which was seemingly as ancient and permanent as a slab of marble? Such purity and tradition surely could not be soiled in my lifetime? But probably for the first time in my life, I was wrong. Within the figurative blink of an eye Freedom Gamers had fallen and been replaced by Momentum Networks. Much like the American interim government of Iraq this served as merely a shoddy replacement for the solid foundations that had been torn from the ground, and much like the hopeful Iraqis who cheered the toppling of Saddam, I too naively believed this would be the beginning of a player built, player run server for the good of the players, and again like those Iraqis, I too was hoodwinked. "Remember that the storm is a good opportunity for the pine and the cypress to show their strength and their stability." - Ho Chi Minh, 1964 Momentum Networks signaled the beginning of a trend of pretender servers in the wake of Freedom Gamers. Whilst the elite of FG had indeed been upturned, yet again the players were left in the dust as those who lust for power inflicted great injustice upon them. These powerhungry elements however were unable to manage the system they had created. The collapse would give rise to an imitation Freedom Gamers, Backlash Gaming and now to Domination Servers. The Players Union represents nothing more than the interests of the common gamer. The dilly-dallying of the adminship on matters of ‘playtime’ highlights the level of insecurity and corruption that permeate on the current servers. A team of humble men simply wanted to engage in a 5v5 of goodwill for nothing more than fun in a hostile system that they otherwise tolerate is shot down with unbridled rage. What do the admins have to lose from accepting such a team in their competition? One can only assume they protect their fragile dignity. "Want to know what’s more destructive than a nuclear bomb? Words." - Kim Jong-Un "You get freedom by letting your enemy know that you'll do anything to get your freedom; then you'll get it. It's the only way you'll get it." - Malcolm X, 1964 "I did it all for the nookie! (Come on) The nookie! (Come on) So you can take that cookie!" - Limp Bizkit, 1999

Can you name something useful the PU has done in the last 5 years?
Quote:The Players Union team was forbid from attending the 5v5 Covid-19 Tournament on the grounds of administratory discrimination. As far as I'm aware, Raymonds original application for the tournament was declined due to it being filled out incorrectly. He failed to submit another application to ChewBaker before the due date, thus making his team invalid, and unable to participate in the tournament. The whole Players Union is built on top of lies, half-truths, and inactivity. ![]()

You call me out of touch but your frontal lobe must be out of touch from the rest of your brain to miss the obvious point I was making. The people running the community were there. MaX-PaiN was active then CoiNz was active then IVORK 1 or so years later Turtle 1 or so years later Chewbaker around same time Jas8621 1 or so years later PorkyBear couple years later As I said, you are out of touch and inactive. You have no idea what happens in DS and it shows. 10 or so currently active staff were active during the early days of FG. I don’t think you understand. |
