Map Pool Tweaks

I reckon the map pool is getting a bit boring, not because of a lack of maps, because the same few maps like wakka, revo, canyondam, freedom, etc, dominate the map pool, and honestly its getting boring and tiresome.
Imploring a 'rotation' or a 'ban' system, every month or week or so the most played map(s) of that month or week would be banned/removed for the following month or week.
I just think doing this would diversify the maps and give others some more playtime.

There was a person with the same sort of idea back when I was staff. I can't remember why it was never introduced although I think there was a pretty valid reason. Could be interesting to try for a month or two.

I wouldn't disagree with this idea, however, there is a lack of new recent maps for this to work effectively. Maybe the top three most played maps could be taken out of the rotation or something, IDK. Just an idea though, we'll have to see what the big people think.
