Why do you want to mute another player?

Same reason one would normally want to mute a guy? For micspamming/being annoying?

That's why admins go on the server. T's who constantly micspam, play music or are being obnoxiously annoying are dealt with on the spot with a 2 minute mute then increasing if they keep their act up. In regards to CT's, no CT's should be micspamming at all including warden and admins often tell/warn other CT's to not speak over warden or mic spam in general else they are comm muted. There is 0 point or need for this

Admins are not always on the server, as for CTs you could just modify the plugin to exempt CTs.

The only time that staff realistically wouldn't be on the server is on a public holiday, in the early morning, or late at night. If there's a problem, you can post a message in #emergency-staff-assistance and ask for a staff member to come deal with micspammers. Even then, there may be Trusted members on who can call votes to mute micspammers. Also it's not hard to hold down TAB, right click on a profile, and just mute them yourself.

I'm not going to waste someone's time to mute a few people who will probably stop before an admin gets on.
CS:GO's default muting blocks text chat and username as well as not always working, like if the player isn't visible on the scoreboard.

There's a volume slider for all players in the leaderboard (slide the mute button), why would we need a plugin when there is a perfectly good easier way to do it.

No idea how to slide the mute button, click just blocks/unblocks and scroll does nothing, still they'd be audible at 10%

Because the leaderboard muting is buggy at doesn't always work (like when a player is invisible on scoreboard)
It's also much easier to just type !sm username (assuming their name is normal) than to look through the scoreboard.
If the scoreboard muting is fine why is the plugin on the MG server?

How is this thread still going? It’s a pointless plugin when there’s a default one all ready if you know how to use it which was explained earlier.

I don’t understand why it would be required at all though it’s jailbreak the only people you goto listen to is the CTS so use the default mute to mute the Ts that are talking problem solved.

Maybe try out for trusted to get the votemute option if it’s absolutely that bad and is disrupting everyone’s gameplay if not suck it up and mute them through the default mute in the leaderboard.

Blocks player name, profile picture and text chat, also doesn't work if the player is invisible on scoreboard, if you use CS:GO's console mute there's a chance they won't show up and you have to go through the hassle of checking their id in status.
You can also mute groups like terrorists in the same way admin commands work.

What do you mean if there name is invisible there still clickable. And if your referring to the scoreboard not being big enough to fit everyone’s name on, look a little to the left when you right click and scroll down
