Name: Dash
SteamID2: STEAM_1:0:159099619
Time of Incident: 9:07pm
Server(e.g. JB1): JB1
Reason for the extension request:
As evident in Dash's previous staff complaint here, Dash has shown time and time again that he is not learning his lesson through the multiple blocks regardless of whatever thread he posts claiming that he is changing his ways. I am going to provide 3 reasons why I believe Dash deserves a month mute.
1. The Night of the Incident
As provided in this screenshot, before the day mute as it stands atm, Dash recieved 9 mutes and 1 gag, 6 of the 10 are clumped fairly close to each other. Dash obviously does not learn from his mutes or gags and continues to misbehave by either yelling into his mic at full gain or playing obnoxiously loud bass boosted music that annoys everyone.
2. 182 blocks in 118.4 hours
This is unheard of in my opinion when it comes to someone who is considered by many to be fairly new. To be fair, I don't count myself old in this community either, but if we have to compare my blocks to his, it's almost staggering. Almost everyday without incident he has been muted, gagged or silent. It's as if he can't go one game without needing to be disruptive. A mute, gag or silence is suppose to indicate to a player that their current behaviour is getting on peoples nerves and to pipe down, but Dash doesn't seem to get the memo because he always gets unmuted within either 2 minutes, 30 or an hour.
3. A wake up call is long due
Because of the leniency showed to him, Dash believes that he can continue to get away with this and make threads promising to change only because he knows he's toeing the edge too closely. But him knowing that doesn't mean he'll stop, likelihood is he'll continue after a few days when people forget. It should be made clear that this sort of disruptive behaviour is not allowable on the servers and that it's about time he actually stops.
Therefore, a month mute/silence is in my opinion the right course of action. I believe that after this time, if he continues his behaviour he should be server banned for 3 days. A month mute/silence is fair as he can still play on the server but is given an opportunity to learn how to play the game without needing to use his mic or spam commands in chat.
Thanks,
Counter.
