So the VIPs infinite knife is gone, but possibly a way around it is if the VIP Ts spawn with decoy nades so they can at least redo the knife animation?

A decoy acts in the same way as a whnade so it would be like getting a whnade every round which would be a bit unbalanced

Nah, decoys stick people in the same way a Smoke does. Will be a lot like when we had snow balls, very loud and people constantly being interrupted and stuck by projectiles.
