New Rule - LennyS - 14-09-2023

33.1 If a CT enters a ts cell before 8 and a T is inside, this is considered 5ft and the T is allowed to knife the CT.
Good idea?

pls explain why this is a bad idea
rn cts going into cells is a easy fix and cells being opened early is not of a benefit to ts as much if the cts can camp in a cell

RE: New Rule - Unicorn - 14-09-2023

wtf this is already encapsulated within the rule. if the ct walks into you its their fault assuming you are following the orders. eg walking out of cells to the order. however if youre delaying in the cells in order to knife them youre still delaying. walking out actively and stabbing them on the way its 100% their fault.

RE: New Rule - LennyS - 14-09-2023

its mainly an idea to remove the encouragement of cts going into cells for protection. This would add a consequence to this.

RE: New Rule - nufty - 15-09-2023

This effects one map, which is already super T sided, on the rare chance that a CT manages to live the initial chaos to get into a cell, just so that the rare chance that there is a T AFK in the cells can then knife them? Rule changes are to codify previously inconsistent or vague rulings, such as the addition of rule 12.1 to address ambiguity in the out-of-bounds rules.

The situation you're describing is so rare that it is not worth adding. If a CT manages to get into a cell, then they should be rewarded for good play. After all, they are still trapped in the cell. Nothing to "fix". Plenty of rewards for opening cells early
