Cliffside Public Beta - ZoNiCaL - 24-07-2022 After three separate attempts, hopefully this one is good... Introducing Cliffside, now playable as a public-beta version! This map is set high up in the "Nowhere Cliffs" in a maximum security prison. The prison is notable for it's unique prisoner recreation such as Combat Surf and Bumpmine Race alongside other games. The map is currently not finished and detailing will be done in collaboration between myself and Decroded. If you notice any bugs, outstanding visual issues or have any suggestions for the map, please leave a reply with some screenshots. CONFIG: If you are testing the map by launching it locally, set sv_airaccelerate to 2000. Some functionality may not work such as friendly-fire turning on in Combat Surf due to the map using SourceMod commands. If you want to install SourceMod locally, I would follow this tutorial using MIGI so you can launch your CSGO client with SourceMod. It is also recommended to add "-nobots" to your CSGO launch options to stop a navmesh from generating when you launch the map. Experimental balance changes (subject to further change): = Nerfed cell vent health: 400 -> 750 = Nerfed gunroom vent health: 1 -> 150 = Adjusted the way gunroom door opens. It will remain open if players are within range. When players leave this range, it will close after five seconds. |
