i cant remember the exact reason to why i got a ban for this. but i think its coz i binded it to a toggle key so i could look at clip brushes a while ago. or if i had a csgo software "HLAE" (Half Life: Advanced Effects) running for recording demos, which is also how the account got banned since its classed as a hack, and its now just used when i need to record demos.

and i dont really know if a clipbrush infraction is THAT BAD.

You're using an sv_cheats override to get banned for that, I don't believe HLAE would contain an sv_cheats override.
It's not just clip brushes, you can use r_drawothermodels 2 for wallhack, mat_fullbright for visiblity, change fov any command that is client sided and locked behind sv_cheats is available for use.
It's a standard feature of any decent hack, you wouldn't even know you had the feature, you would simply toggle a cvar you're not meant to be able to and it would change the value despite the server disallowing.

in the HLAE discord under #special-releases theres a version of HLAE with -noinsecure
