Why should you be unbanned?: Not gonna jump the boat. Not gonna arse kiss or beg. Am going to be honest and "balance the scales" as much as I can so that people can look at this in an unbiased way. This is my FOURTH OFFENCE for degen related behaviour, so that is obviously a major factor to take into consideration when reading further, as its important to remember I have a very long history. The Fourth Offence is also important because of it being the main reason as to why the ban was 31 days, instead of a select few as a slap on the wrist. I'm not arguing with the Nazi Behaviour at all, so also keep that in consideration, I'm mainly going for a reduction on my current ban (not a complete unban - although very welcome) because I don't want to jump the gun, and make the decision seem any harder (if it is at all) so that's what most of this unban request will be focussing on.
For the sake of the reviewal process running smoothly and to avoid arguments, I'll only look at CT BANS that are related to Nazi Behaviour and/or Intentional Freekilling, so as to avoid any possible deception or stating the obvious on the admins reviewing my ban for our sakes.
My first example of a ban that would be similiar to mine - is a first offence ban - this being Dustin2ks' ban that he received this month, which lasted 5 days, for being a DUD CT and INTENTIONAL FREEKILL.
A second offence ban example would be Moofty and his recent CT BAN, for being a DUD CT and INTENTIONAL FREEKILL, he received a 5 day ban as a result.
My third example, will be using Irfans ban for GUNPLANTING and FREEKILLING. Look. Its Irfan. The kid barely speaks english, so I'm assuming the staff team were being more lenient with him due to the very obvious language barrier. As a result of his ban reason, he received a 31 day ban for his third offence. As I said, language barrier, and I'm sure that the gun planting was because of his level of understanding of basic English, but I'm not arguing admin favourtism or staff inefficiency in this case. Its a weird example to use, but the only I could find that relates to my ban, is a THIRD OFFENCE and is some what recent.
The main reason as to why I am using recent cases of CT BANS to avoid any staff change of procedure that may have occurred over the past few months which I have no idea about (so in a nutshell, I don't know if ban lengths have been purposefully increased to counter any trends in degen acts. An example of this would be encouraging mass reports and how it took a while for a perm ban to be officialised as the main source of punishment).
As I have stated previously, I'm not asking for a complete unban, mainly just a reduction of my original length to decrease from 31 days to 21 or 24. Massyween is a popular event for DS, and I'd like to participate, and to miss out on that for an Intentional Freekill and Nazi Behaviour ON MY FOURTH OFFENCE, is overdoing it just a bit, but again, its up to the staffs discretion.
Even if this request gets denied, take it as me personally, with my long history of degeneracy, my close call to being placed as a trial in the staff team, the fact that this isn't a joke unban req and that I put time into this and my permanent bans, as a way of saying - I am trying and more than willing to improve my behaviour, and I just need a chance to prove myself. I obviously understand I'll be on thin ice from now on, and my next offence, will last much longer and I know there wont be a point in posting an unban/reduction request on that, but if I get one last chance, I'll start a new chapter, I'll do my best not to disappoint and I'll stop being a degenerate.
