Yo so how the fuck does mass reporting someone/ encouraging a mass report not result in you getting perm banned? I don't think one month is a sufficient punishment and thats legit coming from someone thats banned from it. If you truly want people to stop doing it, consider proper perm bans. Not a permban reappeal in two months. A PERMANENT BAN. the state of ds

I doubt you will be able too. Again, the only way to get people to stop doing it is to actually PERM BAN THEM. No unban appeals. No second chances. This is something that should be taken with 100% seriousness. It wont ever stop otherwise.

IMO from what I’ve gathered those who have suffered (mane,dash,ect) have built a negative reputation within the community and have no intentions of improving(not saying I’m perfect). I’m not saying they deserve community mutes but reducing mic spam, naziness (if that makes sense) and overall toxicity to other players will drastically decrease chances of getting spam reported.

Yeah it's really shitty that the steam mute thing carries over onto community servers tbh. Just seems like another way for trolls to fuck people over.

Or you can just not encourage people todo and people will forget they can do it.

I don't have a muted account to test with but you could try sv_mute_players_with_social_penalties 0, but it's flagged as FCVAR_DEVELOPMENTONLY.
There is another way, not exactly the best way but installing revemu then letting players use modified steam_api.dll would let them block the report function, both being able to be reported and to report others.
