Why were you banned?: Doxxing. (Revealed name of a player multiple times after being told to stop)
Why should you be unbanned?: Happened a few months ago. I cant check when specifically because for some reason there is no ban history under my portal account that I can see (not even previous ct bans).
I understand that I violated someone's right to privacy by revealing sensitive information, but I didn't consider it to be that big of a deal at the time due to the fact that their name being visible to the public on a YT video under their account, which is where I learnt their name. Even after I received my ban, the video is still up, including where their name has been revealed.
A perm ban is a perm ban and a dox is a dox, and I don't believe in something like a 'small dox' or a minor offence when it comes to doxxing, but I came close to doing that under these circumstances. For me the worst part that I don't want staff or anyone else reading this to forget is that, I continued to 'casually' reveal their name during trivia games or hint at how it was pronounced and spelt etc after being told to stop. In a nutshell, the person told me to stop, but I didn't and kept on revealing their name.
I am sorry that this got "as bad" as it is, but its entirely up to the person affected and staff to decide whether or not I deserve an unban, I just want to have a crack at JB again and see how the community has been changed.
