Hi, thanks for your ban request.
tOz has been banned from CT for a few offenses, mainly CTSmoking. As such, this ban request is Accepted.
However, I want to point out what is wrong with your ban request so you know what to improve on next time:
- The players SteamID2 was incorrect, and I had to go scavenge through demos to go find it. Please make sure you provide the correct SteamID2 when submitting a ban request. You can do so by right clicking the players profile in the scoreboard, getting their Steam Community Profile URL e.g (https://steamcommunity.com/id/therealzonical/) and putting it into a SteamID website, preferably steamid.app
- When you list the time of incident, please provide a timezone and the mapname so it can be easily be found by staff on the Portal.
- I actually needed to go through two demos, use some guess work to find the right demos, and then go through lots of rounds to actually find these offenses. Please try and atleast record down the round number or score (e.g round 8) so it's easier for staff to navigate demos and to not use so much time. It would also be much easier for staff if you recorded the incident with software like OBS, ShadowPlay, FRAPS, etc, and uploaded it to a file sharing service like YouTube.
- If you are unable to record your gameplay live, demos can easily be found at https://portal.dominationservers.com/demos. From there, you can select the server (e.g JB#2) and find the map and time the incident occurred on. From there, you could clip the evidence using the recording software mentioned in Step 3, upload it to YouTube, and post a ban request; you can also directly attach the demo to the ban request, given you've provided the correct information.
- Also please keep in note that some (not all) staff will not look through demos for offenses, and we do prefer if they are clipped and uploaded. It's fine if you do, but if you can record, it's even better for us.
