To be unbanned. - kermit the frog - 10-12-2019
I have just been banned on domination servers and I'd like to be unbanned. I know that I have been using a bhop macro to gain an advantage over other players and yes, it is entirely my fault and only mine. I have learnt from my mistakes and if I do get unbanned I will try to learn scroll wheel bhopping or just play the game how it should be played. I don't expect to be unbanned since I did gain a extreme unfair advantage over other players, but I promise you if I do get unbanned I will try to learn to scroll wheel bhop and not using a bhop script or macro. I do sincerely apoligise and again, I did take in the fact that I could get banned for this. In no way shape or form I am putting the blame on admin's because this was 100% completely my fault for getting banned. Again, I do apoligise for my mistakes and I won't use a bhop macro again. Thank you to whoever reads this. One more time, I am sorry and do apoligise for my mistakes, which again was 100% all my fault. I do not expect to be unbanned, but I'd appreciate it if you unbanned me. Thank you.

Hey Kermit,
There's a difference between using a macro (something you can configure in Logitech Gaming Software, Autohotkey or Razer synapse, etc) and downloading a cheat that injects a .dll into your game that hooks game memory, bhopping for you, and gaining a clear advantage over other players.
To get the bhop stats that got you banned, you would have had to be using a cheat such as a multihack, so look at it from my point of view, why would I let you back onto the server when you were using a cheat with aimbot/wallhacks?

I do not recall of using a hack that includes aimbot/wallhacks to gain an advantage. I do not have any proof of me not doing it though. What I think got me banned though was I playing on the map ba_jail_ds_consignment_v5, we were at lava game (you know, the one where you step on it and the block goes down trying to kill you) and after it was finished I started bhopping in circles with a macro gaining insane speeds. A few seconds after doing that I was banned.

I do think my ban was unfair, since I was not using any form of hack that includes aimbot/wallhacking, and since this is my first ban because of a bhop macro, I think a perma ban is a bit too over the top. I would say my ban would be around 3-6 weeks. Before I got banned, I didn't get any warnings, or kicks from the server, just straight up a permanent ban. I'd appreciate it if you maybe investigated my ban more and tell me if my ban was pretty reasonable or was just out of nowhere. Thank you in advance if you do investigate.

To start off I'd like to say thank you for your patience. Several staff members, including myself, have looked into your ban and we've decided to unban you. Our anti-cheat system auto banned you as it believed you were hacking. The ban has been revoked and you are now allowed back onto our server. Before joining our server I suggest you remove that macro. Consider this your first warning, if caught using any bhop assistance actions will be taken immediately.
